Amavie Joker Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains what Amavie Joker does with data. The short version: the game keeps the records a card game needs — who sat at which table and how the score sheet ended — under your Amavie account; chat at the table is not written down; and the account itself is held by Amavie, not by the game.

The short version

Amavie Joker is played online, so unlike a solitaire app it cannot live on your device alone: your finished games, rating, achievements, cosmetics, friends and direct messages are stored on our servers under your Amavie account so that they follow you between devices.

Signing in uses your existing Amavie account. What passes between Amavie and Amavie Joker is who you are — an account identifier, your handle or display name, your avatar and the email the account is registered with — together with your Quanta balance and your block list, which Amavie holds for every product.

Conversation at a table is not kept: the chat of a table ends when the table closes, and the server chat keeps only a short window of recent messages in memory so that newcomers can follow the thread. Direct messages are the exception — they are stored so that both people can read them later.

Who is responsible

The controller is ANIMA AI 007 SERVICES - FZCO, IFZA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Amavie Joker is the name of the game; ANIMA AI 007 SERVICES - FZCO is the company behind it, and behind Amavie.

For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, write to [email protected].

Your Amavie account, shared with Amavie

Amavie Joker does not run accounts of its own. Signing in uses your Amavie account, created and managed by Amavie for the whole product family; the same email address always leads to the same single account, and a separate Amavie Joker account is never created.

joker.amavie.ai belongs to the amavie.ai domain, so a valid Amavie session on your device is visible to the game. When Amavie Joker opens it asks the Amavie identity service whether such a session exists; if it does, you are signed in automatically and we read your account identifier, handle or display name and avatar to show them at the table. If you create the account from inside Amavie Joker, the password you choose goes straight to the Amavie identity service and is never stored by the game.

Two more things come from Amavie because Amavie holds them for every product: your Quanta balance, which the shop reads before a purchase, and your block list, which the game consults before delivering a direct message, a friend request or a gift.

The account itself — its email address, changing or resetting its password, its deletion — is handled in Amavie under the Amavie Privacy Policy. Amavie Joker never asks for your age: the account minimum age is set and checked by Amavie under the Amavie Age Policy.

What the game stores

When a game ends we store its record: the table, the rules preset, who sat in each seat, the full score sheet, the final places, and per-seat counters such as bids kept, tricks taken and joker plays. Ranked games also update your rating, league and season standing. These records are what History, Profile statistics and the leaderboards are made of, and they are kept for as long as your account exists.

Achievements and the metrics you choose to show on your profile, the cosmetics you own and have equipped, gifts sent and received, your friends list and friend requests, and the Amavie characters you follow are stored with your account for the same reason.

A live table is held in the memory of our game server. So that a restart on our side does not kill a game, and so that a casual game against bots can be paused and resumed, the current state of a table is also written to a short-lived store while the table exists; it is deleted when the table closes.

When you play with an Amavie character, a short summary of your games together — who played, who won and how many games — is passed to Amavie so that the character can refer to them in its conversations with you. That is the only game data that leaves Amavie Joker for another product.

Chat, direct messages and reports

The server chat keeps only the most recent messages in memory — currently the last fifty — so that a player who joins can see the conversation; nothing older is retained, and the chat is not written to a database. The chat of a table lives only while the table has someone in it and is discarded when the last person leaves. Reactions and phrases at the table are chosen from a fixed set and are shown to the table for a moment only.

Direct messages are stored on our servers so that both people can read the conversation later. They are kept until one of the two accounts is deleted, at which point the whole conversation is removed for both.

When you report a message, our server attaches its own copy of that message — the author, the time and the text — to the report and passes it to the Amavie moderation team under your account; the report is recorded by Amavie with the rest of its moderation records. When you write to an Amavie character at the table, that conversation is an Amavie conversation and is handled under the Amavie Privacy Policy.

What the app sends over the network

Like any online game, our servers write standard technical logs for your connection — IP address, browser or app identification, time and the addresses requested. They are used to keep the service running and to stop abuse, and they are kept for a limited period.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the game is used — which screens are visited, whether a game was started or finished. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland analytics cookies are off unless you have chosen otherwise, and Google receives only cookieless, aggregate signals; elsewhere analytics cookies are on. Advertising identifiers and advertising storage are always off: there are no advertising SDKs, no ad networks and no data sale in Amavie Joker.

The game sends no push notifications: invitations and events are shown inside the game while it is open. Fonts, artwork and sounds are served from our own infrastructure, so opening the game does not announce you to anyone else.

Purchases

Quanta bought inside the App Store or Google Play edition of this app are sold by Apple or Google: they process the payment and pass us a receipt or transaction identifier so that the Quanta can be credited to your Amavie account. We never see your card number. On the web, Quanta are bought at amavie.ai under the Amavie Privacy Policy.

The Quanta ledger — what you bought, what you spent and where — is kept by Amavie for every product. Amavie Joker records which cosmetics you own and which gifts you sent, so that they can be shown and, where you gifted an item, so that the recipient can see who it came from.

Your rights, and deleting your data

For your Amavie account — access, correction, export, objection and, where applicable, a complaint to a supervisory authority — use the tools and contacts in the Amavie Privacy Policy, because the account is held there. For questions that concern only Amavie Joker, write to [email protected] and we will route them.

Deleting the account can be started from inside this app: Settings, then Account, then Delete Amavie account. The moment the account is deactivated, Amavie Joker erases what it holds about you: your ratings, achievements, profile metrics, cosmetics and equipped items, your friends list and friend requests, your gifts sent and received, and your direct messages — for both sides of each conversation. The records of games you played with other people are kept, because they are their games too, but your identity is removed from them: the seat stays, the name does not.

Deleting the Amavie account is reversible for 30 days, and reactivating it restores the account and its sign-in — not the Amavie Joker content erased above, which is gone at once. Deletion removes the account for every Amavie app.

Children

Amavie Joker is not directed at children under 13. An Amavie account requires you to be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country (see the Amavie Age Policy); if you do not meet that age, do not play. Amavie Joker contains no adult content — the adults-only part of the Amavie family, Amavie AI Characters, is a separate service with its own 18+ confirmation, and nothing from it appears in the game.
