Amavie Joker Community Rules
Last updated
Joker is a game of keeping your word, and the table only works when everyone at it can trust the other three. These rules say what we expect from you wherever you meet other players in Amavie Joker, and what happens when someone breaks them.
Where these rules apply
They apply everywhere in Amavie Joker where one person can reach another: the server chat, the chat of a table, direct messages, the note attached to a gift, reactions and phrases at the table, and the names and invitations you put in front of other players.
They apply alongside the Amavie Community Guidelines, which cover every Amavie product; where the two differ, the stricter rule applies. Serious violations here are violations of the Amavie Terms of Service and can affect the whole account.
What we expect
Be a good opponent. Bluff at the table, argue about a bid, tease a player who took one trick too many — that is the game. Harassment, bullying, threats, hate against any group, and repeated unwanted contact are not.
Keep it suitable for everyone at the table. Amavie Joker is an all-ages game: no sexual content, no graphic violence, no requests for personal information from another player, and no sharing of anyone’s private details.
Keep it honest. No spam, no scams, no advertising, no links designed to take another player off the game or out of their account, and no impersonation — of another player, of Amavie, or of its characters.
Fair play
Play your own seat. Automated play, several accounts at one table, arranged results between players, and exploiting a bug to gain an advantage are cheating. Ratings, places and rewards earned that way are removed, and access can be restricted or closed.
A ranked game is a promise to three other people: leaving it counts as a loss, an AI bot finishes the hand for the others, and repeated leaving puts you on a cooldown from the queue. If you find a bug, tell us at [email protected] instead of using it.
Report, block, and what happens next
Every message and every player can be reported from inside the game: open the message or the player card and choose Report. Our server attaches its own copy of the reported message — not the reporter’s retelling — and sends the report to the Amavie moderation team. A person reviews it; you are not asked to argue your case in the chat.
Any player can be blocked from their card. A block works both ways and across every Amavie product: neither of you can send the other a direct message, a friend request or a gift, and you stop seeing each other. You can undo a block in Amavie.
The game itself limits what a single account can do: messages are capped in length and rate, and reactions and phrases come from a fixed set. These limits are not a substitute for reporting — if something crosses a line, report it.
If you see something that puts a person’s safety at risk, write to [email protected] as well as reporting it; that address is read by people, and it is the fastest way to reach us.
Enforcement
Depending on what happened and whether it happened before, we may remove the content, warn you, restrict chat or gifts, suspend access to Amavie Joker for a period, or close it. Ratings, rewards and cosmetics obtained through cheating or abuse are removed. Where the conduct breaks the Amavie Terms of Service, the whole Amavie account can be suspended under those Terms.
If you believe a decision was wrong, write to [email protected] with the details and a person will look at it again.
The AI characters at the table
Lilith, Noll and the other Amavie characters who sit at tables are AI. They are held to the same rules as everyone else: if one of them says something that would get a person reported, report it the same way — those reports reach the people who tune the characters, and we act on them.
